Letters From Santa… Send Them from the North Pole or Not From the North Pole? That is the Question…
Letters from Santa are back! It’s that time again, and Santa is itching to send your children his letters from Santa full of great little compliments for the awesome things they’ve done. The thing is, there are so many places to choose from to purchase and have them sent, how do you know where to get your letters from Santa?
I have sent my children letters from Santa for years. I love to watch their faces as they rip open the envelopes and smiles galore! But, the deciding factor for me, when I decide which source to go with, is where the letters from Santa are sent from.
Some companies selling letters from Santa send their letters from wherever the company is based. Some send their letters from Santa from places like Santa Claus, Indiana. And some, the really cool ones, for the most part, send them directly from the North Pole. When they still couldn’t read, it didn’t really matter where the letters actually came from. But depending on whether your child still believes in Santa should determine which company you purchase your letters from Santa from.
The good thing is, there are a lot of choices to send letters from Santa. The following companies are some of my favorites, as a mom of four, from which to send those coveted letters from Santa.
Letters From Santa Choices…
Letters from Santa come in many forms, and for this company, many sizes. Rather than just letters from Santa, A Package From Santa sends whole packages of cool Santa stuff. There are three choices, Gold, Silver, and Platinum packages, and which package you choose determines the size of the package and its contents. They include things such as Santa window decals, letters from Rudolph, Reindeer Food in a collector’s tin, and a genuine North Pole pine tree seed. The packages are very cute, original, and kids love them! Each package is sent in a box, and all of them include letters from Santa
The drawback with these letters from Santa packages, and only a problem if your child is on the fence about believing in Santa, is that they are not sent from the North Pole. They bear a stamp from the North Pole, but it’s not a North Pole cancellation. When my kids got old enough, they made it a point to check their letters from Santa for official North Pole status…
Another great company for letters from Santa can be found by clicking the picture to the left. A little bit different, this company personalizes your letters from Santa as well, and gives your child accolades for their accomplishments throughout the year. I love this! You can pick up to three things your child has done to make Santa proud, and include them in their letters from Santa!
These letters from Santa are sent from Santa Claus, Indiana, which is believable, but still not the North Pole. You can also purchase a phone call from Santa from this company, and they have other cool stuff like Santa’s boot print kit, good list certificates, and Santa evidence kits. Again, my kids checked the postmark when they got old enough, so the letters from Santa that I sent came directly from the North Pole.
These letters from Santa (click on the picture on the left) are sent directly from the North Pole. They are personalized with some information about your child, such as their name, name of their best friend, and their home town. Letters from Santa from this company are postmarked from the North Pole (in order to do this they MUST be ordered by the 9th of December) and printed on the official stationery of Santa Claus. Also available is a “Good Boys & Girls Certificate,” complete with a golden Santa Seal or the new for this year “Good Boys & Girls List” which features your child’s name at the top of the list! These letters from Santa are officially postmarked and cancelled from the North Pole, so if your child is on the believing fence, this rendition of letters from Santa is a must!
Now, I realize that it’s easier to fill out a form and send letters from Santa through someone else. I think so too. But for years, I sent my own letters from Santa, until I almost got caught! That’s when I started to check out other companies. But what I’ve found is, I haven’t been able to say what I actually want to say to my children with letters from Santa from other companies.
When you order letters from Santa with other companies, you have to use their form letters. So, I put together a package of my own templates that I used over the years… letters from Santa in which I tell my children why they are so special and have Santa give accolades for their accomplishments. The biggest difference, is that in my letters from Santa, there’s space for a special paragraph from you, where you can write anything you wish. That’s what made my letters from Santa more special.
You can find my letters from Santa templates by clicking on the blue link. By clicking there, it will bring you to my own website where you can get letters from Santa on templates, and use them over and over again. Not only does this save you money, but you can customize each one, so if you have more than one child it’s not just a form letter with fill-ins. The cost is just $10.95 for 12 templates, including baby’s First Christmas and one to special adults, and you can use these to send letters from Santa from year to year. Pay one price, and never pay for letters from Santa again!
Whatever you choose, sending letters from Santa has truly made Christmas special for my children. From year to year, they run to the mailbox to find their letters from Santa, and find out what he noticed about them through the year, and it brings joy to all of us! Send your letters from Santa today!
