Letters From Santa From The North Pole

Letters From Santa… Send Them from the North Pole or Not From the North Pole?  That is the Question…

Letters from Santa are back!  It’s that time again, and Santa is itching to send your children his letters from Santa full of great little compliments for the awesome things they’ve done.  The thing is, there are so many places to choose from to purchase and have them sent, how do you know where to get your letters from Santa?

I have sent my children letters from Santa for years.  I love to watch their faces as they rip open the envelopes and smiles galore!  But, the deciding factor for me, when I decide which source to go with, is where the letters from Santa are sent from.

Some companies selling letters from Santa send their letters from wherever the company is based.  Some send their letters from Santa from places like Santa Claus, Indiana.  And some, the really cool ones, for the most part, send them directly from the North Pole.  When they still couldn’t read, it didn’t really matter where the letters actually came from.  But depending on whether your child still believes in Santa should determine which company you purchase your letters from Santa from.

The good thing is, there are a lot of choices to send letters from Santa.  The following companies are some of my favorites, as a mom of four, from which to send those coveted letters from Santa.

Letters From Santa Choices…

letters from santa Letters from Santa come in many forms, and for this company, many sizes.  Rather than just letters from Santa, A Package From Santa sends whole packages of cool Santa stuff.  There are three choices, Gold, Silver, and Platinum packages, and which package you choose determines the size of the package and its contents.  They include things such as Santa window decals, letters from Rudolph, Reindeer Food in a collector’s tin, and a genuine North Pole pine tree seed. The packages are very cute, original, and kids love them!   Each package is sent in a box, and all of them include letters from Santa

The drawback with these letters from Santa packages, and only a problem if your child is on the fence about believing in Santa, is that they are not sent from the North Pole.  They bear a stamp from the North Pole, but it’s not a North Pole cancellation.  When my kids got old enough, they made it a point to check their letters from Santa for official North Pole status…

letters from santaAnother great company for letters from Santa can be found by clicking the picture to the left.  A little bit different, this company personalizes your letters from Santa as well, and gives your child accolades for their accomplishments throughout the year.  I love this!  You can pick up to three things your child has done to make Santa proud, and include them in their letters from Santa!

These letters from Santa are sent from Santa Claus, Indiana, which is believable, but still not the North Pole.  You can also purchase a phone call from Santa from this company, and they have other cool stuff like Santa’s boot print kit, good list certificates, and Santa evidence kits.  Again, my kids checked the postmark when they got old enough, so the letters from Santa that I sent came directly from the North Pole.

letters from santaThese letters from Santa (click on the picture on the left) are sent directly from the North Pole.  They are personalized with some information about your child, such as their name, name of their best friend, and their home town.  Letters from Santa from this company are postmarked from the North Pole (in order to do this they MUST be ordered by the 9th of December) and printed on the official stationery of Santa Claus. Also available is a “Good Boys & Girls Certificate,” complete with a golden Santa Seal or the new for this year “Good Boys & Girls List” which features your child’s name at the top of the list! These letters from Santa are officially postmarked and cancelled from the North Pole, so if your child is on the believing fence, this rendition of letters from Santa is a must!

Now, I realize that it’s easier to fill out a form and send letters from Santa through someone else.  I think so too.  But for years, I sent my own letters from Santa, until I almost got caught!  That’s when I started to check out other companies.  But what I’ve found is, I haven’t been able to say what I actually want to say to my children with letters from Santa from other companies.

When you order letters from Santa with other companies, you have to use their form letters.  So, I put together a package of my own templates that I used over the years… letters from Santa in which I tell my children why they are so special and have Santa give accolades for their accomplishments.  The biggest difference, is that in my letters from Santa, there’s space for a special paragraph from you, where you can write anything you wish.  That’s what made my letters from Santa more special.

You can find my letters from Santa templates by clicking on the blue link.  By clicking there, it will bring you to my own website where you can get letters from Santa on templates, and use them over and over again.  Not only does this save you money, but you can customize each one, so if you have more than one child it’s not just a form letter with fill-ins.  The cost is just $10.95 for 12 templates, including baby’s First Christmas and one to special adults, and you can use these to send letters from Santa from year to year.  Pay one price, and never pay for letters from Santa again!

Whatever you choose, sending letters from Santa has truly made Christmas special for my children.  From year to year, they run to the mailbox to find their letters from Santa, and find out what he noticed about them through the year, and it brings joy to all of us!  Send your letters from Santa today!

Letters From Santa — Can They Really Keep the Magic Alive?

Letters From Santa

Letters from Santa is a great way to keep the Christmas magic in the air for your children… Not just on Christmas day, but also leading up to the Holiday!  To make Christmas more family-oriented, rather than a big buy-fest, you can actually use letters from Santa

Until I started sending letters from Santa to my kids, they would get so caught up in the commercials on TV and picking out what they wanted for Christmas, they didn’t give much thought to the other side of the Holiday.  Christmas is also about family, about friends, about being with the people you love.  Letters from Santa seem to bring them back down to Earth when they get too focused on the material things. Not only are they good in this respect, letters from Santa give them a good dose of self-esteem.

Although letters from Santa don’t stop the Christmas Holiday from coming earlier and earlier each year, they do give my kids a handle on their own talents, and the ability, and chance, to reflect on the past year in a different way than just making a list of what they want.  Letters from Santa tell your child why he/she is so great, and add a special touch to an already magical time… and who wouldn’t want letters from Santa to see why the big guy is so proud as well?

Santa uses his letters from Santa to let parents tell their children, through him, how proud they are for their accomplishments of the previous year.  They give little egos a big boost.  Letters from Santa not only benefit the receiver, but the sender as well.

Letters From Santa Kept The Magic of Santa Claus Alive for My Children

Letters from Santa saved my daughter’s belief in Santa!  Let me tell you how.  My daughter, Claire, came home from school crying when she was in Kindergarten.  Between sobs she told me one of her little classmates told her there was no Santa Claus:  She told her she had caught her mom and dad putting all of her presents under the tree the year before and Santa was just a big fat lie.  My heart stopped.   I almost started to cry myself.  That was the year I started sending letters from Santa.

Letters from Santa also taught me a huge lesson about myself.  I took her tiny little hand in mine and I said “Clairebear, there are two kinds of people in this world… Those who believe and those who don’t believe.  The ones who believe live in the magic of life and know in their heart that you don’t have to see something to know it’s there.  And the ones who do not believe?  Well, they just don’t know how good it could be if they only had a little faith.  Of course there’s a Santa Claus, everybody knows that.” And then I started to sweat it out, until I came up with the idea of letters from Santa!

Letters from Santa gave my daughter and I faith in each other that day.  When she looked up at me with those huge brown eyes, I will never forget the glimmer of hope behind her tears.  We walked slowly, hand in hand, back up to the house.  She was very quiet, taking in all that I had said to her.  By the time we reached the top of the hill, she said, “Mommy, I have a plan…”  Little did she know I had one too – and mine included letters from Santa!

Before I could send out the letters from Santa that year, my daughter told me she was not going to tell anyone but Santa what she wanted for Christmas… that could have been a problem.  But I called a friend of mine and he pretended to be Santa, and found out what she wanted for Christmas! Later, I called him back, got my critical info, and then sat down at my computer to type my letters from Santa!

And that was how sending letters from Santa became a tradition for my family.

Letters From Santa Keep the Christmas Magic Alive!

Letters from Santa are easy to find and order.  The problem is, it’s not always as easy to know which are good, and which would not make the top of Santa’s good letters from Santa list!

What you want to do is find one that mentions details about your children, and how proud Santa was of them for all the great things they did during the past year.  Some letters from Santa even mention their best friend’s name, favorite cookies, anything to make it more about them.  What you want to do decide if you want your letters from Santa to have an official North Pole postmark.

Here are a couple of my letters from Santa favorites.  You can get to them by clicking on the banners next to their descriptions.  I believe you’ll be happy with my letters from Santa choices!

When choosing letters from Santa, as mentioned above, the biggest thing you have to be aware of is where they are mailed from.  Some say they are mailed directly from the North Pole, and some really are.   I like letters from Santa that are cancelled by the post office at the North Pole. My children are older, so the first thing they do is scan the envelopes of their letters from Santa.

The North Pole cancellation is the major difference in the two choices for letters from Santa that I recommend.  For smaller kids who won’t notice or can’t read, I’d say it doesn’t really matter.  For kids who are older and on the fence of believing, an official North Pole cancellation on letters from Santa is a must.

For actual North Pole cancellation, I recommend letters from Santa from a company called Imaginary Greetings. Their letters from Santa are highly personalized and include achievements of the child, which promote self-esteem.  I’m a huge proponent of that alone.  They also have other great Santa stuff, like good list certificates, phone calls, and Santa evidence kits.  Anything that helps preserve the magic of Santa works for me!  It doesn’t have to be just letters from Santa.

And if you live where it snows they also carry Santa’s boot print kit, which is pretty cool!  Letters from Santa is just one of the many options you have!

The other company for letters from Santa I recommend is “A Package from Santa.”  This company sends  whole packages, not only letters from Santa, but packages chock full of Santa goodies. There are three packages to choose from.  All include letters from Santa, and you can see what’s offered below…

These letters from Santa (and his packages) are not sent from the North Pole.  Because of the size, the charges to do so would be enormous.  So if you have a child who is almost noon the edge of believing, I would use the other company above and send your letters from Santa with North Pole cancellation.

With either of these companies, your letters from Santa are sure to be great fun for your kids.  Weigh the pros and cons of each company according to your needs, and send out your letters from Santa today!

Letters From Santa

Letters From Santa-Boost Your Child’s Ego

Use Letters from Santa to build self-esteem? What’s that?  Build self-esteem with Letters from Santa?  Hmmm…  Can that be done?

Yes, it can be done!  You may ask how I know… so let me explain.  I’ve sent letters from Santa to my kids for years…

I send letters from Santa… My name is Laurie Wajda.   I’m a mom.  I’m just a mom.  I clean up the spilt milk, put band aids on skinned knees, and occasionally patch up a broken heart.   You may not think it’s such a glamorous job.  But at the end of the day when the lights are out and the house is quiet, and I can kick back, put my feet up and watch little snippets run through my overworked mind, I see my five year old son running across the grass, skillfully kicking his soccer ball.  And then my teen’s voice echoes through my head as I hear her say ‘thank you’ to a complete stranger because he held the door.

letters from santaAs I drift off, I watch another child struggle with her homework because she takes all honors classes and always strives to do her best.  And at that moment, when sleep settles in, I realize that I don’t have wonderful children by accident, and I know there’s not a thing in the world I would trade for my unglamorous job.  Because, after all, I am a mom.  I have to say I take the credit for this.  But I do have a few tricks up my sleeve, various ego boosters, including letters from Santa.

I have sent letters from Santa to each of my children every Christmas for years, (and I send them directly from the North Pole.)  These letters from Santa are used for a different purpose than the usual “be good” that some parents use to scare their children into behaving …they promote self-esteem in children.  They don’t just tell them to be good or Santa will pass them by.   They are not used as bait for presents under the tree.  Rather, letters from Santa make children feel good about themselves, and celebrates their own accomplishments throughout the year.  Letters from Santa let them know how great they really are.

Letters from Santa build a child’s self-confidence, and showcase the ways they are great.  Did your daughter learn to ride her bike in July?  Did your son whack the winning home run last spring?  Were their grades excellent or were they awesome in school?  Why not remind them now, during a season of giving?  Why not send them letters from Santa during a season which promotes hope and faith and love…  Instill confidence in your children and in yourself as they giggle and rip open their very own letters from Santa.

Go ahead, use letters from Santa to tell your kids how much you love them; that you notice the great things they do.  Use letters from Santa and Santa, the icon himself, to tell your children how awesome they really are. Customize your letters from Santa from start to finish with details only you (or someone watching!) would know.   It does wonders for your soul, and theirs.  Use letters from Santa to build them up so they can carry that confidence with them for a lifetime.

Is sending letters from Santa the only thing that you can do to raise your child’s self esteem?  Probably not.  But, parent to parent, when letters from Santa arrive and he tells your children how wonderful they are, it certainly doesn’t hurt.

What do letters from Santa do?

Letters from Santa keep the magic of Santa Claus and Christmas alive.  They give parents a way to instill confidence in their children in a way that only Santa can…a way to realize and remember all the amazing things they can, and have done. Letters from Santa… a memory in the making…

Right now, close your eyes and, for a moment, go back in time… Picture yourself the first time you met Santa: When the world was magical and your biggest worry was what kind of cookie to have for dessert. Now, remember how easy it was to believe …what it was like when you climbed on that massive lap and stared up at those long white whiskers, and you could feel the kindness in the eyes behind those spectacles.  When you cupped your little hands around your mouth and whispered what you wanted for Christmas in his ear…how awesome was that?  And how amazing was it to wake up on Christmas morning and there it sat, under the tree, a testament to your faith that there really was magic and the world was a really cool place to be…

Now take that feeling, that memory of miracles and magic, and send it to your kids with letters from Santa, knowing all the while that someday they’ll know the magic was really in you, and in them. Let them know how much you care, how proud you are and how you would not trade one minute with them for the world. And then, give yourself a great big pat on the back, and know that you are the kind of parent every kid should have.  The way I see it, every kid deserves letters from Santa!

Think about it…You know what they are doing, but picture their jaw dropping when they see that Santa Claus knows too!  Keep the magic alive and send your letters from Santa out today!
